“While friends can be there for you, listen and even give you advice, you have to be able to do the same for yourself,” she wrote.
The influencer, who is known to speak her mind, has also urged other women to open up and talk to a therapist if going through the same issues.

She had dealt with criticism and scrutiny, and at many times found herself in the midst of brutal trolling, which was a little difficult to deal with. Penning a heartfelt note, Masaba said that all of this made her seek out validation.
“I think, for me, so much of my anxiety comes from the need for validation. People assume that being an artist, I can effortlessly put myself out there, but it’s tough. Every time I showcase my work, like anything else, it is critiqued. It’s like a part of me is being scrutinized,” the 30-year-old wrote.
“I once overheard some work colleagues discussing their struggles with anxiety, and that entire conversation really hit home. I realised I felt similarly in multiple situations throughout my life. I started going to therapy, talking to people that were close to me,” she added.
Further praising therapy and its benefits, Masaba continued, “While all this helped, I knew that I couldn’t depend on others forever; I needed to help myself. So I taught myself how to do that.”

The topic is being discussed by many celebrities, and some even faced brickbats but the kickass woman that she is, Masaba decided to give an open opinion on the antidote to anxiety.
Designer Masaba Gupta opened up that she is struggling with metal health issues and going for therapy.
“I constantly talked to myself about how I was feeling, so I could actually understand what was happening. I think that for me, the greatest antidote to anxiety is the acceptance of reality. I’ve had to learn to live with this feeling and not get angry at myself for it, and every time I’m able to talk myself out of it, I count it as a win,” she claimed.
