Priya shot 696 and took the individual pole. Parneet Kaur (third) and Ridhu Varshini Senthilkumar (fourth) were the next best Indians.

The previous record of 2045 registered in Rosario in 2017 was made by the American trio of Keane Sanchiko, Breanna Theodore and Savannah Vanderwier, as per sources.

Not only this, Priya also combined with Kushal Dalal (705) for a mixed pair tally of 1401. This broke the previous mark held by Danish duo of Natacha Stutz and Mathias Fullerton (1387) at the Madrid World Youth Championships in 2019.

17-year-old Priya said in an interview that she is really happy and is capable of shooting even more than what she did today. She has to shoot proper shots and try her best. She can even get better results. In fact, her goal is to become world champion and she is ready to give her best.

The compound U-18 team secured the second place.
