Who Is Veda Krishnamurthy: Indian ace cricketer Veda Krishnamurthy is recently undergoing an unfortunate juncture in her life because of a series of misfortunate events that include her mother's death followed by her sister's death, both due to COVID-19.
Krishnamurthy's previous coach Irfan Sait posted a story about the incident on Instagram. She personally thanked all of the condemning wishes for her mother, taking to her Twitter account and further urged to pray for her sister.
"Appreciate all the messages I have received about the loss of my Amma. As you can imagine my family is lost without her. We now pray for my sister."
The cricketer requested her fans to respect her privacy in the same and further informed that she has tested negative.

Who Is Veda Krishnamurthy?
Krishnamurthy made her debut in international cricket at the age of 18 in a one day international against England Women at Derby in 2011 and scored 50 off 54 balls. The right-handed batter, a right-arm leg-break bowler is currently a 28-year-old young Indian Sportswoman who represented India in 48 ODIs and 76 T20s.
She has also achieved to play for T20 franchises outside India. Apart from that, she also played in the final of the 2017 Women’s World Cup to become a star performer there.
When Krishnamurthy engaged in a chat with SheThePeople.TV, she said that she believes every failure comes with a lesson and has something to teach when asked about a failure of one of her matches.
"At the end of the day, there is no point in dragging the past. As we cannot change the past, we need to make sure that when such a situation comes up again, we will have to deal with it better."
Recently, In January 2020 she was named to India's squad for the 2020 ICC Women's T20 World Cup in Australia which was followed by October 2018, when she was named in India's squad for the 2018 ICC Women's World Twenty 20 tournament in the West Indies.
