Who is Bill Gates Interpreter Zhe Shelly Wang? Zhe Shelly Wang, an interpreter for Bill and Melinda Gates' foundation since 2015, is being accused by a section of the Internet for allegedly breaking the couple's 27-year long marriage.
The Chinese interpreter has refuted the "groundless" rumours that she was the reason for the Gates' divorce. She has denied the accusation by making a public statement on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, Page Six reported.

Here are a few things to know about Zhe Shelly Wang, Bill Gates' Chinese interpreter who is making headlines:
1. According to her LinkedIn profile, Wang has been freelancing for the Gates' Foundation since March 2015, while also working as an interpreter for multiple organisations for nearly nine years.
2. According to her bio, Wang currently works as an interpreter at Harvard Business School and the Yale School of Management. She has previously worked at TED Conferences and the Monterey Institute of International Studies.
3. 36-year-old Wang lives in Seattle and is unmarried. She is an accomplished professional translator who grew up in the Chinese port city of Guangzhou, and later immigrated to the United States.
4. Wang is multi-lingual, can speak at least six languages including Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Spanish languages, as per her bios. She describes herself as having "native or bilingual proficiency" in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
5. She also owned a restaurant from 2006 to 2008. Her restaurant was in Provo, Utah, the Four Seasons Hot Pot & Dumplings, according to her LinkedIn profile, which has since been deleted.

10. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Managerial Economics from Brigham Young University in 2007.
