Yellowstone New Season Plot: Yellowstone, starring actors like Kevin Costner, Wes Bentley, Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser and Gil Birmingham, will soon be out with a new season. It revolves around the life of John Dutton, the leader of America’s largest contiguous ranch.

After the success of Season 4 that concluded in January 2022, the fans are desperately waiting for Season 5 and expect Season 4’s cliffhangers to be addressed there.

Yellowstone Season 5 is expected to answer questions about Jamie’s political future, Warner’s upcoming moves against Beth and Dutton land and Kayce’s mysterious vision quest.

As per reports, since season four saw the launch of 1883, season five chapter one will be more about Sylvester Stallone-led Tulsa King. The second half, on the other hand, will see the launch of the 1932 installment with a focus on Duttons during the era of Prohibition and the Great Depression.

Season five will also highlight the major dynamic shifts that have happened in the Dutton family, with Jamie becoming a murderer, and Beth having access to some intel on Jamie, that could be harmful to his future. 

Popularity of Yellowstone

The show first premiered in 2018 on Paramount Network and amassed great popularity. In fact, it was one of the most watchable shows on television in 2021. The makers announced in February 2022 that the show will be renewed for its fifth season.

It was speculated that the new season will feature a slightly higher number of episodes than usual. It will have 14 episodes in place of 10.

John Linson, Art Linson, Taylor Sheridan, Kevin Costner, David C. Glasser, Bob Yari, and Stephen Kay are the executive producers of the show. 101 Studios has co-produced and co-financed the show.

Where to watch Yellowstone New Season

According to reports, Executive Producer David Glasser hinted that the production for Yellowstone Season 5 will begin in May 2022. He added that the fifth season of Yellowstone is expected to return sometime around fall 2022.

He stated – “It’s the prime of the show, I think the show is still maturing, and there’s still a lot of stories to tell. I know with , he’s got a lot to say and a lot to write. He’s deep into season 5 of Yellowstone now. He’s got some incredible ideas that he shared that I think audiences are going to be really excited about.”
