Not so surprisingly, during the interaction, when Bumrah was shown a picture from his wedding, the 27-year-old termed it as the best day of his life. The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Thursday tweeted the couple's fun interaction video from its official handle. Watch it here:

It was a surprise for the fast-bowler when Ganesan turned up for the interview ahead of the contest. The cricketer opened up about some anecdotal incidents from the past to his wife and there was a wide range of photos from his childhood that he had shared from his Instagram account.

The Indian pacer shared his genuine thoughts on each of those photos and also discussed his initial days in sports back when he was at school. And finally, when Ganesan showed him their wedding picture the Indian pacer joked that he has seen the person sitting next to him somewhere before. The star bowler then shared a smile with his wife and recalled, “It’s the best day of my life, it (wedding) happened recently. As you’re aware of the memories, it was the most happiest day of my life. The memory will always be there, and yeah, looking forward to it."

Bumrah and Ganesan tied the knot in Goa on March 15. Ganesan is a sports presenter and television host, and currently works with Star Sports. In the past, she has hosted the Indian Premier League (IPL), the 13th edition which was held in the UAE last year as well as the 2019 World Cup. She has been hosting special shows during cricket and badminton tournaments for the sports channel.

Having joined the broadcasters in 2016, Ganesan has also got the oppotunity to co-host the channel’s popular post-match show Match Point and Cheeky Singles. She grew up in Mumbai and studied software engineering. Later, she began her professional career as a model.
