Charlotte Angie Murder: Here's What We Know About The Adult Actor's Death

The death of adult star and influencer Carol Maltesi, famous to fans as Charlotte Angie, has shocked Italy. The circumstances surrounding the 26-year-old's killing comprise chilling details. She was reportedly murdered while shooting sex tapes with an acquaintance in January, with her remains being discovered only in March. The man, identified as Davide Fontana, has been arrested in connection to the case.

As per local reports, Fontana continued to keep Maltesi's payment and cell phone accounts active to give the impression that she was still alive. He kept up the ruse until Maltesi was reported missing recently after failing to turn up for a job at a club. Police released a description of Maltesi to the public, following which she was identified.

Maltesi is survived by one child - a son - who lives with his father. She was popular on adult content site OnlyFans, where audiences pay-per-view and subcribe to a content creator's posts.

As previously reported, Maltesi was filming two sex videos with Fontana, who lives in her neighbourhood and knew her. The videos were allegedly violent in nature, as confessed by Fontana, one more than the other. He claimed he tied Maltesi to a lap dance pole and tied a plastic bag over her head, before proceeding to brutally beat her and slit her throat.

Fontana allegedly said he killed Maltesi "accidentally" and that the sex between them was consensual, as per New York Post.

Fontana then allegedly hacked Maltesi's body and stored the remains in plastic bags in his freezer. He continued paying her rent and using her phone to send texts. When investigation in the case began, the accused threw the remains off a cliff in Brescia, Italy.

Journalist Andrea Tortelli reportedly confirmed Maltesi's identity by confirming the same from her family, after police released a description. Know more on the case here.
