Who is Tejasswi Prakash: Prior to its release on October 2, Bigg Boss 15 is dropping names of contestants that will feature in the latest season of this popular reality television show.

On September 30, the Bigg Boss team released a promo video revealing singer Akasa and television actor Tejasswi Prakash as part of the show this year.
This year the show's theme is Jungle Mein Dangal. The contestants will be seen living in a jungle set up and fighting for basic amenities before they enter the Bigg Boss house.
According to reports, they will be divided into teams of three, which will be led by three Ex-Bigg Boss contestants. Other contestants on the show are Shamita Shetty, Nishant Bhat, Donal Bisht, Umar Riaz, Pratik Sehajpal, Karan Kundrra, Afsana Khan and Simba Nagpal.
This is not Tejasswi Prakash's first reality show. She was also part of Khatron Ke Khiladi, where she was praised for her strength and for pulling off daring stunts. It is not her first time in Bigg Boss house either, as she had appeared as a guest on season 13 of the show.
Who is Tejasswi Prakash?
An engineer by training, Prakash graduated in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Mumbai.

Prakash has been a part of the television industry since 2012, making her debut with Life OK's show 2612. However, a show that she was part of in 2017, named Pehredaar Piya Ki made headlines, making her popular, but not in a positive sense. Tejasswi was paired opposite a young child actor named Affan Khan for the show. It revolved around a princess who marries a nine-year-old prince to protect him, upon the wishes of his dying father. Makers had to pull the show off air as viewers objected to her character's marriage to a nine-year-old boy and the forced romantic angle between them that was deemed disturbing.
In an interview, Tejasswi Prakash said that the entire controversy helped her get noticed and also resulted in her being cast for a film by Rohit Shetty. Later, Prakash was cast opposite actor Rohit Suchanti in a spin-off of the show, where we see a 21-year-old prince romance a 30-year-old princess who had married him to keep a promise made to his father.
Apart from these shows, Prakash was also a part of serials like Sanskaar- Darohar Apnon Ki and Karan Sangini. Her most popular show remains Swaragini- Jodein Riston Ke Sur, in which she played the lead role of Ragini Maheswari.
