Who Is Shefali Jariwala?
The Bigg Boss season 13 contestant, born on December 15, 1982, is a Bollywood dancer/actor who has been a controversial topic because of her first unsuccessful marriage with Harmeet Singh.
The dancer/actor also holds a bachelor's degree in Information technology. She got the opportunity to work on a music album during her engineering years and since then opted for this industry rather than the IT field.
She tied knots with the Indian Music Director and Singer in December 2004, however, it ended up in an ugly divorce after five years where Jariwala accused Singh of domestic violence back then.
In an interview with Times Now, Jariwala recalled her past experiences and said, "Not every kind of violence is physical. There is a lot of mental violence that also happens and you are very unhappy in your life," accusing him of "mental violence.
"I think, one of the reasons why I could make the decision for myself, was because I was independent, making my own money," she added.
However, the actor found love again in the year 2014 after she met Parag Tyagi. They appeared in the dance reality show Nach Baliye together for two seasons.
The couple doesn't have any children, however, Jariwala intends to adopt one recently as she wanted to adopt a child ever since she understood the meaning of adoption.
"From the moment I have understood the meaning of adoption which was when I was, 10 or 11, I always wanted to adopt a child. Parag and I spoke about it and we want to adopt a girl child," She said.
