Shalini Pandey is all set to make her Bollywood debut with a Yash Raj film production Jayeshbhai Jordaar. The film which will release on May 13, 2022, sees Pandey playing the role of firebrand actor Ranveer Singh's wife. The dramedy directed by Divyang Thakkar surrounds Jayesh Parekh and his family including a daughter and wife Kinjal. The couple has to go through shenanigans only for his wife to successfully give birth because their child is a girl and his parents—played by Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah—are very regressive and want a male grandchild.

The trailer begins with Jayesh's father addressing a meeting of the Panchayat where a girl speaks about how inebriated men create a scene outside their school and the blame is conveniently shifted upon fragrant soaps used by women. And the hilarity ensues when Jayeshbhai takes us on a ride showing his life. Although it tickles your funnybones, it leaves you to think about a lot of issues.
Shalani Pandey's Kinjal seems like an ordinary woman who is in a difficult situation. Pandey debuted with Sandeep Reddy Vanga's infamous action-romance Arjun Reddy alongside Vijay Deverkonda as Preethi Shetty. And is known to have done her dubbing regardless of not being fluent in Telugu.

Shalini Pandey’s theatre career began in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. The actor will be seen in ">JayeshbhaiJordaar, a forthcoming social comedy directed by Divyang Thakkar where she will be opposite Ranveer Singh. The film is set to release in 2021.
The 28-year-old made her Telugu debut with the film Arjun Reddy and her debut in Tamil is with M. M. Chandramouli’s Romantic Comedy 100%Kadhal alongside G. V. Prakash Kumar.
She is famed for her role in the classic film Mahanati which is an autobiographical drama based on the life of the late Indian actor Savitri Ganesan.
Pandey is set for an official Bollywood debut with Yash Raj Films productions.
Pandey has also begun filming for Junaid Khan’s Maharaja.
In 2020, she has also appeared in the Hindi short film Dwand as the lead actor.
Before working in movies, Reddy appeared in Hindi TV shows Man Mein Hai Visshwas and Crime Patrol.

She had a cameo appearance in the Hindi film Nimmo where she was Nimmo’s friend and another special appearance in N.T.R. Kathanayakudu as Sowcar Janaki.
Some of her other works include Megha in the Telugu film 118, Jhansi in the Tamil film Gorilla, as Varsha in the Telugu film Iddari Lokam Okate and as Neelam in the Hindi film Bamfaad.
She also acted as Sonali in the Amazon Prime Video Nishabdham (Silence), a thriller shot simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu which was also later dubbed in Kannada and Malayalam.
