Who Is Seema Khan? Fashion Designer Ends Marriage With Actor Sohail Khan

Seema Khan, the fashion designer recently seen in Karan Johar's The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives on Netflix has again made headlines. This time it is her divorce from her estranged husband Sohail Khan that seems to be a topic of interest.

The designer along with Sohail Khan was seen at a court in Mumbai to finalise their divorce proceedings. The couple had been married for the past 24 years. They have two children together, Nirvaan Khan and Yohan Khan. The couple had reportedly separated a while and have finally signed the divorce papers.

Seema Khan can be seen in many celebrity party pictures. She seems to be good friends with Maheep Kapoor, Bhavna Panday and other celebrities who were also part of Netflix's The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. The celebrity part of the show had created much buzz as memes were created and their lives were seen with curiosity. Khan is a celebrity fashion designer and her designs are often worn by popular people in the film industry.

Khan married Sohail Khan after meeting him during the shoots of Pyaar Kiya to Darna Kya. Then-Seema Sachdev took Sohail Khan's name after the marriage. Reportedly, Seema's parents were opposed to the marriage so the couple eloped in 1998. Seema had gone from Delhi to Mumbai to pursue a career in fashion designing. After eloping, the couple got married with an Arya Samaj ceremony. The had their Muslim wedding on the same day. Eventually, both families accepted the union. In 2000, the couple welcomed their first-born Nirvaan and Yohan was born in 2011.

As per reports, after the relationship between the couple had started to turn sour, they started to live separately in 2017. According to a source quoted in an India Today report, the couple had not informed anyone about their divorce and the decision was taken last minute. The source said, "The decision was taken at the last minute and no one was informed. They both decided to keep the decision private and file for a divorce. They have been living separately for the past few years.”
