Who Is Savita Bajaj? A 79-year-old veteran actor is witnessing a bad chapter of life as she has drained out all her savings. The actor sought financial help to pay for her medical bills.

In a recent interview with India Today the actor, Savita Bajaj talked about her financial crisis while revealing that she has exhausted all her savings. The actor also battled against COVID-19 in April due to which she stayed in the hospital for 22 days. Bajaj was admitted again recently and confessed that her family didn't want to support her due to which she got has no financial support in the city. 

Savita Bajaj seeks financial help

In a recent interview, Savita Bajaj mentioned her financial condition as she said that her savings are all drained out due to her poor health condition. She also appreciated the help she received from the industry people before and admitted that she got every intention to pay back as soon as the actor resumes work.

The veteran actor also shared that she has no one to take care of her as no one in the family wanted to keep her. "I have earned a lot, helped those in need, but today I need help." She added.

Who Is Savita Bajaj?

 Savita Bajaj is an Alumni of the National School Of Drama (NSD), the seventy-nine-year-old actor has worked in over 50 films including Nishant, Nazrana, and Beta Ho Toh Aisa among others. She has also played many roles in TV shows such as Nukkad, Maayka, and Kavach, among others. The veteran actor is mostly popular for her work in ssshhhh...koi hai released in 2001, Krishna released in 1996, and Rocky released in 1981.

Bajaj is a yesteryear Indian film and television actor, who rose to fame after performing as Gurdeep Singh’s mistress in Mani Kaul’s 1970 Hindi film, Uski Roti. She later shined in Shyam Benegal’s Nishant, a National Award-Winning drama film.

The actor tied the knot with Dr Arun Vaidya in 1982.
