Who Is Sajjad? Deceased Malayalam Actor Sahana's Husband  

 Sahana, a model and actor who starred in a number of advertisements for jewellery stores and in the Tamil film Lock Down, was discovered dead the same night at her home in Kozhikode, where she had just celebrated her 22nd birthday. Her family alleges she was the victim of domestic violence by Sahana's husband.

Sahana, a professional model and Malayalam actor, turned 22 on May 12th. She, on the other hand, was found dead on the same night at her Kozhikode house under strange circumstances.

Sahana was discovered hanging from her window railing at her home, and Sahana and Sajjad's neighbour, who also happens to be the owner of the house they were residing in, was the first to notice something was wrong. According to the house owner, Sajjad screamed for aid since Sahana was not responding. "We then called the cops, who arrived five minutes afterwards," the landlord explained. When the cops arrived, she was driven to the medical school in their jeep. Her husband was accused of abusing her by her parents. As part of the ongoing investigation into her death, police have reportedly apprehended her husband, Sajjad.

The accused person's mother has also reportedly confirmed that disputes started in Sajjad and Sahana's marriage just a week after their wedding. Sajjad's mother said, "We had no contact. My phone number was blocked . I saw my son only once or twice after he left home."

"The life here didn’t agree with her, she couldn’t adjust,” Sajjad’s mother added.

Who Is Sahana's husband, Sajjad

The actor was alleged to have married Sajjad, a 31-year-old man, a year and a half ago. Sajjad, who had previously worked in Qatar, moved in with Sahana to his Kozhikode home. Sahana's mother proposed that the pair move out after she told her family that her in-laws and sister-in-law were torturing her together with Sajjad. They moved to a rented house in Kozhikode's Parambil Bazar a few weeks ago.

"Sahana recently appeared in a film, and Sajjad formerly worked in Qatar but is now unemployed. The couple is said to have battled over the money Sahana earned for her role in the film, "the investigating officer told the press.

Sahana's mother reportedly told a well-known news outlet that Sahana used to cry all the time, claiming that her in-laws tortured her and that her husband used to drink and cause trouble. Even after the shift, Sajjad was misbehaving with Sahana and demanding money. "The 25 sovereigns of gold that we provided have been used," Sahana's mother continued. She had requested that we meet on her birthday." According to her mother, Sajjad would not allow Sahana to meet her relatives or invite them to the house. "My daughter would never kill herself." Sahana's mother told Mathrubhumi News that her daughter had been murdered.

The investigating authorities said they are still looking into the issue and aren't sure if the death was caused by suicide.
