Who is Ritu Arya? Indian Origin Actor Starring In Red Notice

Soon going to be seen in the upcoming film, Red Notice, Ritu Arya is being talked about since her role as Dr Megan Sharma in Doctors.

Who is Ritu Arya?

• Ritu Arya is a British actor of Indian origin, also working as a drummer. She was born and brought up in England and resides there with her parents and two brothers.
• Arya began her acting career as a teenager. She gained major recognition for her role as a psychiatrist Dr Megan Sharma in the British soap opera Doctors. There she worked from 2013 to 2017. She was also nominated for the British Soap Award for Best Newcomer in 2017.
• Ritu Arya had a guest appearance at the Sherlock series.
• Her breakthrough role was in the series The Umbrella Academy where she starred as Lila Pitts.
• Ritu Arya talking about her role at The Umbrella Academy Season 2 said, "It’s been crazy. I’m just overwhelmed with how many women have reached out and said how inspired and proud and empowered they feel, to see a South Asian woman play a role like that."
• Apart from her career in acting, Arya is a part of the band KIN as a drummer. they released their debut single Sharing Light.
• Arya also spoke about the time she faced inequalities and said, "I think growing up I thought there seemed to be quite an inequality between men and women, especially in my community." Talking about her parents, she said her parents were supportive through her various interests in acting, drumming and Astrophysics.
