• Pillai took to Instagram to talk about the upcoming show and wrote, "Karlo iss kahani ki revision. Aa rahe hai thodi der me. Releasing only on Netflix."
• Pillai was born in Thane and studied at DAV Thane. She is the only child of Sheeja and Manoj Pillai. She is fondly called Revu by her friends and family.
• The dog lover never aspired to be an actor but wanted to be an automobile engineer.
• She has also appeared in Special Ops and The Interns.
• In Special Ops she plays Pari Singh, the show is an espionage thriller directed by Neeraj Pandey. Before the release of the show, Pillai took to Instagram and wrote "Special OPS❤ Very grateful for having me as a part of it." The show stars Kay Kay Menon in the lead role.
• The Interns is a story revolving around the lives of three girls who power through their internship and their lives. Pillai plays Viveka in the show. Ahsaas Channa, Revathi Pillai and Rashmi Agdekar are the three main characters. The show promotes sisterhood and tells us stories how girls support each other to get through life.
• In Kota Factory Pillai is first introduced as Vartika is first introduced in Season 1, Episode 4. Vartika and Vaibhav decide to group study and eventually become good friends. The director of the show Raghav Subbu said, ‘Things that people liked about ‘Kota Factory’ season one was not just the fact that it’s somebody going to a city and just giving an exam, wanting to go make it to the IIT. There were so many things that we highlighted with the show, like the theme of loneliness.”
• On how Kota Factory happened to her she said in an interview, "Like every other audition I get a call from this casting agency, saying that I have got an audition for a web series but they didn’t mention which is the production house or anything. So I went for the audition and they said they will call me within a few days if I get selected. And I didn’t really get a call like for the next 2 weeks or something but I was quite satisfied with the audition that I had given."
• She had auditioned for the roles of both Shivangi and Vartika.
• Finally, after a long time, she got a call saying the workshop will be beginning in a few days.
• She had 17.2k followers on Instagram.
