Who Is Ramsha Khan? Pakistani Actor Playing Lead Role In Drama Shehnai

Ramsha Khan recently starred in the Pakistani TV series Shehnai. The drama, directed by Ahmed Batti received a positive feedback from the audience because of it's unique concept.

It revolves around Bakht and Meerab, whose lives are controlled by their parents. Being forced to marry each other, they decide to team up and cancel their wedding.

Ramsha Khan is an actor who primarily acts in Pakistani dramas and telefilms. She made her acting debut with the coming of age film Thora Jee Le. Khan has also worked as a model and a Video Jockey.

1. Ramsha Khan joined the entertainment industry in 2016. She does not come from an artistic background but in no time, she made a permanent place in the world of glamour with her hardwork and talent.

2. In the drama Kaisa Hai Naseeban, she played the role of Mariam and gathered a huge popularity after that. The drama speaks about dowry system and marital abuse prevalent in the Pakistani society.

3. She joined the campaign "give royalties to artists" by posting about it on her Instagram handle. It was a campaign Pakistani celebrities launched on social media demanding the royalties actors are entitled to. It was initiated after the renowned actor Naila Jaffrey raised the request for royalties for re-running her dramas for her cancer treatment.

4. On June 23, 2021, Khan celebrated her 27th birthday. She thanked family, friends as well as all her fans for their warm wishes. Taking to her Instagram handle, she penned down a note that read, "Didn’t expect them to surprise me tonight. I was literally in my jammies. I love each one of you so much! Thank you for the birthday surprise and for being there with me through everything since the start." She continued, "And to ALL my fans for all the vms and collages. So much love, and appreciation.. I don’t even know how to thank you guys. Thank you for sticking with me for all these years. I love you guyss."
