Raashii Khanna will be seen alongside Bollywood star Ajay Devgn in his upcoming psychological thriller series Rudra: The Edge of Darkness. Raashii Khanna will debut on the digital platforms playing the role of a sociopath in the Hindi drama OTT series. The series will release on March 4, 2022.
Upcoming Hindi psychological-drama thriller Rudra: The Edge of Darkness will release on OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar. It features actors Ajay Devgn, Raashii Khanna, Esha Deol, Atul Kulkarni, Tarun Gahlot among others. The series will come out in multiple languages including Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Bengali.
The six-episode show follows the story of ACP Rudra Veer Singh, played by Ajay Devgn, who hunts down intelligent criminals in the city of Mumbai where he attempts to win the war against evil with the goodness of humanity. "It is for this belief that Rudra sacrifices everything he has, "the official synopsis reads. The series is an adaptation of British drama Luther.
During his hunt for criminals, Veer Singh befriends a genius sociopath named Aliyah played by actor Raashii Khanna. She has turned eyeballs with her appearance in the show's trailer.
Who is Raashii Khanna?
Raashii Khanna is an Indian actor who works predominantly in Hindi and Telugu film industries. She made her debut with Hindi film Madras Cafe in 2013 with actor John Abraham and started acting in Telugu-language films in 2014 with film Oohalu Gusagusalaade. Khanna holds a degree in Literature from Delhi University and wanted to become a copywriter after her graduation.
Khanna started her career in the entertainment industry as a model and went on to work in commercials, print shoots and became the cover girl of Femina magazine in 2009. She also gave her voice to the song Joru in the 2014 Telugu film Joru.
