Kannada actor Pranitha Subhash has starred in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi films. An image of the actor sitting at the feet of her husband Nitin Raju performing a festival ritual went viral. The actor Pranitha Subhash was nominated for multiple Filmfare Awards and South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA). On May 30, 2021, she got married to businessman Nitin Raju in Bengaluru.

- Pranitha Subhash made her acting debut as the female lead in the 2010 Kannada film Porki opposite Darshan, the actor, producer and distributor.
- The same year, she made her debut in the Telugu film industry in the film Em Pillo Em Pillado. She then starred in the Telugu film Baava opposite the South Indian star Siddharth.
- In 2011, she made her Tamil film debut in the film Udhayan alongside actor Arulnithi.
- Subhash starred in the critically acclaimed Kannada biopic action film Bheema Theeradalli. The film is based on the real-life story of Chandappa Harijan. Subhash played the role of Bheemavva, the female lead.
- Subhash was nominated for the 60th Filmfare Awards South and the 2nd South Indian International Movie Award (SIIMA) for Best Actress.
- She also starred in the 2013 Kannada film Whistle, a remake of the Tamil horror film Subhash was nominated for the 3rd SIIMA Award for Best Actress.
- Subhash was later nominated for her second Filmfare Award South for her role in the 2013 Telugu film Attarintiki Daredi. She was nominated in the category for Best Supporting Actress- Telugu.
- While working on the film Attarintiki Daredi, she was also working on the Kannada film She was nominated for the role of Best Actress in the film at the SIIMA Awards.
- Subhash won the Edison Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Massu Engira Masilamani.
- Pranitha Subhash got married to Nitin Raju on May 30, 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to lockdown restrictions, only 50 attendees were allowed and the wedding ceremony was an intimate one.
