Actor Nithya Menen has been roped in by Sithara Entertainments for the upcoming film Production House 12. Tollywood actors Rana Daggubati and Pawan Kalyan will also ben seen in the film. It is the remake of the Malayalam movie Ayyappanum Koshiyum.

The actor was born on 8 April, 1989. She is a singer as well.
She is known for working in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada films.
She has been seen in more than 50 films till now.
In an interview, she had mentioned that she wanted to be a journalist but became an actor as it appealed her more. She pursued a cinematography course at the Film and Television Institute of India at Pune, met B. V. Nandini Reddy and took up acting after he convinced her.
Her stellar performances have often bagged her awards. For instance, she has received three Filmfare Awards South and two Nandi Awards for her films.

As a child artist, she appeared in the English film, The Monkey Who Knew Too Much. It was released in 1998.
Akasha Gopuram, Ala Modalaindi and 180 are some of the films she has worked in. She also made her Hindi debut with Mission Mangal in 2019.
She will also been seen in Netflix's Navarasa which is set to release on 6 August
Her last film was Ninnila Ninnila in Telugu. It got a direct release on Zee5.
For Production House 12, Nithya Menen will be playing the role of Gowri Nandha from the original. Saagar K Chandra is the director of this film.
