Who Is Naina Bachchan? Former Investment Banker Welcomes Baby Boy With Kunal Kapoor

Actor Kunal Kapoor announced on January 31, 2022, that he and his wife Naina Bachchan have welcomed a baby boy.

Kapoor wrote in the post, "To all our well-wishers, Naina and I are overjoyed to share that we have become proud parents to a beautiful baby boy. We thank God for our abundant blessings." The actor is famous for his roles in popular films such as Rang De Basanti, Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana and Aaja Nachle. He married Naina Bachchan in 2015 in a private ceremony in Seychelles.

Not many know that Naina Bachchan's the daughter of veteran actor Amitabha Bachchan's brother Ajitabh Bachchan.

Naina Bachchan used to be an investment banker before she started to get involved in theatre plays and theatre workshops. She has three siblings, brother Bhim and two sisters Nilima and Nimrita. Bachchan seems to keep a private profile on social media and otherwise as well. Her mother Romola Bachchan is a chef based in Delhi NCR and also has resort wear brand.

Kunal Kapoor in his interviews has talked very little about his wife and he rarely posts pictures of his wife. In one the interviews, Kapoor had shared that he met his wife at a fashion show. Their first meeting was arranged by Amitabh Bachchan's daughter and Naina Bachchan's cousin Shweta Bachchan. Kapoor had said that the duo was supposed to go to Mumbai on separate flights but after meeting Naina at night, he changed his flight and booked a ticket in the same flight as Naina. The couple started dating each other in 2012 and tied the knot in 2015.

After the wedding, Verve magazine had interview Naina Bachchan and had asked her about her private profile in the media. Bachchan said that it was not a conscious decision to keep her marriage and relationship with Kunal Kapoor low profile. She said, "Being out of the limelight is a by-product of doing the things that we love the most. But that doesn’t mean we don’t go out and enjoy ourselves or that we deliberately avoid situations where we will be photographed because we don't.
