Mukta Singh, a woman, challenged the notion that individuals should stop working and begin enjoying life as they grow older. She began her profession when she was 58 years old. Singh, a native of Bharatpur, Rajasthan, married a fighter pilot as soon as she earned her master's degree in English. After marriage, she groomed her family and children, but she later began freelancing before modelling "accidentally" happened in her life.
She did her master's degree in English and was then married, which changed her aspirations as her husband's frequent travel and transfers because she was married to an Air Force pilot. After being married, she spent her time caring for her children and her ailing mother.
She explained, "Before marriage, I was studying and didn't know much about my career, However after marriage, my husband has always been quite encouraging. I spent my early years raising my family. My children were the focus of my initial attention."
Singh also freelanced for numerous newspapers and journals while her husband was posted in Delhi. She was a talented artist who, in addition to writing, turned her ideas and vision into famous paintings.
She was passionate about both art and music, so she quickly began painting on canvas to pass the time. She portrayed well-known musical figures on canvas and would use vivid images to create their most well-known tunes.
Her Modelling Journey:
According to Singh, her family relocated to Gurugram after her husband's retirement from the Air Force. She also experienced a number of difficulties, particularly while caring for her ill mother, who had cancer. However, she assured her daughter that she would look after her own fitness and health.
She also began to dress fashionably. To others, this may seem like a little thing, but to Mukta Singh, it marked the beginnings of something wonderful. She revealed modelling "accidentally" happened in her life. Singh landed her first modelling job while attending a wedding. She proudly sported her grey hair and stood out in a crowd with her traditional attire. She then made her debut as a model.
