Who is Koo Hye Sun? The 36-year-old South Korean actor will be making a comeback on screen in the form of acting, directing and writing in a new project, Dark Yellow.

It has been confirmed that Koo Hye Sun will be returning to work after her three-year-long hiatus. Her new film Dark Yellow is a crowdfunded project on the platform Wadiz and revolves around the story of a woman who works in a yellow flower shop and how her life changes when a strange man expresses interest in her and invades her private space.

• Koo Hye Sun is a South Korean actor, singer-songwriter writer, director and producer. Her diverse talents in different categories have given her widespread recognition in the entertainment industry.
• The actor is best known for her work Boys Over Flower where she starred with Lee Min Ho that gained her pan-Asia popularity. She has also played the female lead in different hit dramas including Take Care Of Us Captain, Blood and The King and I.
• Sun has directed over eight films and has won many awards too. She also owns a production company called Koo Hye Sun Film where she produces and films her projects. She said that making a film helps her incorporate her interests in art, literature, and music in one.
• Koo Hye Sun got married to her Blood co-star Ahn Jae Hyun in 2016. After the couple's divorce in 2019, she decided to take a break from the entertainment industry.
• In 2021, Koo Hye Sun has confirmed that she will be returning with a new project called Dark Yellow. She will be writing, directing, producing and acting in this upcoming film.
