A Brazilian model underwent multiple cosmetic surgeries to look like Kim Kardashian but wasn't happy after all. The model, named Jennifer Pamplona, has now spent 120 thousand dollars for her 'detransition' so that she can look like herself again.
Former Versace model Jennifer Pamplona spent 600 thousand dollars on surgeries to imitate Kim Kardashian's look, and had undergone 40 procedures over a period of 12 years. Pamplona got her first surgery when she was only 17 years old. However, her desire to mimic the looks of the popular celebrity, entrepreneur and TV personality was only short-lived.
She mentioned in an interview with Caters that she often got annoyed when people started addressing her as Kardashian. "I had worked and studied and was a businesswoman. I had done all these things and had all these achievements in my personal life, but I was only being recognised because I looked like a Kardashian," she said.
After she got her first procedure, cosmetic surgeries to get the Kardashian look became a kind of addiction for Pamplona. Among the 40 operations, she underwent three rhinoplasties, eight surgeries on her bottom with butt implants and fat injections. While she attracted international recognition given her transformation into Kim Kardashian and gain a million followers on Instagram, she was not satisfied with her newfound fame.
With the help of a physician in Istanbul, she returned to her original appearance paying 120K dollars for her "detransition". Even then, the model believes that the painful procedure was worth it since she finally got her identity back.
