Who Is Jaya Bharadwaj: Chennai Super Kings player Deepak Chahar made a grand gesture for his girlfriend on Thursday after his team lost the match to Punjab Kings in Dubai. The cricketer bend on his knee and proposed to his girlfriend, Jaya Bharadwaj, for marriage. She said yes.

The video of the proposal and gone viral on social media. Chahar is seen making space to stand beside his girlfriend on the field. He soon bends on his knee and pops the question. Jaya Bharadwaj is seems surprised. As she says yes, the cricketer puts the ring on her finger. The couple then hugs each other amid applause. Mahendra Singh Dhoni's daughter Ziva with other CSK team's family members are seen in the video cheering for Chahar.

As per reports, Chahar's fiance is also part of CSK's bio-bubble in Dubai as she travelled to support the cricketer during the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season. She reportedly works at a corporate firm.

Bharadwaj hails from Delhi and she is the sister of Bigg Boss 5 contestant Siddharth Bharadwaj. Her brother had also participated in Splitsvilla season 2. Chahar and Bharadwaj have reportedly been dating each other for a long time. The conjectures on their relationship were doing rounds in the media for the past two months.

Deepak Chahar posted the pictures and videos from the proposal on the field to his social media account. He wrote, "Picture says it all. Need all your blessings. #taken" Many reports have said that the couple is expected to get married after the IPL 2021 concludes in Dubai and the CSK team comes back home.
