All You Need To Know About Jackky Bhagnani, Actor-Producer Who Has Been Booked For Molestation

Who Is Jackky Bhagnani: 36-year-old actor and producer Jackky Bhagnani was booked by Mumbai Police on charges of molestation filed by a city-based model. The survivor had also named eight other people from Bollywood in her complaint, all of who have been named in the FIR. Bhagnani, who made his debut in 2009, with the Hindi film Kal Kissne Dekha, is reportedly planning to make a comeback on the big screen in the movie Anandwaa, directed by Abir Sengupta.

In her complaint, the 28-year-old model-turned singer-songwriter has alleged that she was raped by photographer Colston Julian on multiple occasions, between 2014 to 2018.

The FIR in the case was forwarded to the Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone 9 office in Bandra after the model’s statement was recorded on May 18. Besides Bhagnani, several high profile men including Zerodha founder and CEO Nikhil Kamath, Kwan Entertainment Co-founder Anirban Blah, and Producer Vishnu Induri have also been named in the case. Who Is Jackky Bhagnani?

• Jackky Bhagnani is an actor, film producer, and entrepreneur. He is the son of film producer Vashu Bhagnani.
• Bhagnani holds a degree in Commerce from HR College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai. He has also reportedly done an acting course from the Lee Strasberg Theatre and the Film Institute in New York.
• Bhagnani made his acting debut in 2009 with the film Kal Kissne Dekha.
• The 36-year-old actor’s last project as an actor was the film Mitron that was released in 2018. The film featured Scam 1992 fame Pratik Gandhi and actor Kritika Kamra in key roles.
• The actor will next be seen in the movie Anandwaa, directed by Abir Sengupta, who directed Kiara Advani starrer Indoo Ki Jawani.
• Some other films in which Bhagnani has worked as an actor are F.A.L.T.U., Rangrezz, Youngistaan, Welcome To Karachi and Ajab Gazzab Love.
• Bhagnani had produced the Sarabjit in 2016, starring Randeep Hooda and Aishwarya Rai, alongside his sister Deepshikha Deshmukh and father, under the family's banner Puja Entertainment.
• Bhagnani was recently tied to a case in which he was accused of molestation by a model.
• In her complaint the survivor alleged that Bhagnani had allegedly molested her in Bandra, while Kamat had allegedly harassed her at a plush hotel in Santacruz. No further details regarding the incident are known as of yet.
• Bhagnani is reportedly not in India right now and is expected to return to Mumbai in September.
