Following Bhagwant Mann's and the Aam Aadmi Party's overwhelming victory in the Punjab assembly elections, Inderpreet Kaur, Bhagwant Mann's ex-wife, made her first public comment. Here is everything we know about her so far:
As per the recent updates, Bhagwant Mann is going to marry for the second time after six years of his divorce. The Chief Minister's bride is reported to be a doctor named Gurpreet Kaur. The couple will tie the know in a private ceremony at Mann's official residence in Chandigarh. Reportedly, AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal will also attend the ceremony. According several media reports, the wedding will take place on July 7.
At Khatkal Kalan, the village of Sharid Bhagat Singh, Bhagwant Mann was sworn in as the new Chief Minister of Punjab. Bhagwant Mann has been elected as Punjab's 17th Chief Minister. In terms of tenure, Bhagwant Mann is the 25th Chief Minister of Punjab.
In her interview with The Indian Express, Inderpreet Kaur said " Both our children have reached India and they will attend Bhagwant's swearing-in ceremony at Khatkar Kalan. They are overwhelmed and very excited"
Who is Inderpreet Kaur?
Inderpreet Kaur is the ex-wife of the new Chief Minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Mann. As per reports, in the year 2015, Bhagwant Mann and his wife Kaur got divorced. Following her divorce, Kaur left India. Mann and Kaur have two children together, a son and a daughter.Dilshan Maan is the son's name, and Seerat Kaur Mann is the daughter's name. Both of them are said to be studying at the moment.

The reason behind the divorce between the couple is not confirmed. Reportedly, after becoming a political figure, Mann was unable to devote enough time to his family, leading to their separation.
Bhagwant Mann, his wife, and two children are alleged to have gone to the Gurdwara to offer their respects after winning the Punjab elections.
In the 1990s, Bhagwant Mann and Jagtar Jaggi rose to fame because of their comic partnership. With the film Kachehri, Bhagwant Mann made his debut. He is claimed to have appeared in over a dozen films. In 2014, he was elected to the Lok Sabha from the Sangrur Lok Sabha seat, and in 2019, he was re-elected as MP from the Sangrur Lok Sabha constituency.
