Who is Gina Krasley: Star of reality television show My 600-lb Life and noted social media figure Gina Krasley passed away on August 1 at the age of 30. Her family in a statement confirmed the news without making public the cause of death.
An obituary for Krasley reportedly reads she died surrounded by family at home. She was married to Elizabeth, her wife of six years, who also featured on TLC's reality show with her as the late star tracked her weight loss journey and life story for the camera.
TLC tweeted it "was deeply saddened" at Krasley's passing.

On My 600-lb Life, Krasley had opened up about her abusive upbringing and tough life. At the age of 14, she weighed over 300 pounds and by the time her weight doubled, she became immobile. "I know my body's in bad shape. And it's getting worse every day..." she had said on television.
However, as per a YouTube video posted to her account this year, Krasley had reduced 200 pounds and was mobile again.
Aside from her television stint, Krasley was also known for starting the ‘dancing has no size limit’ TikTok trend that invited people across body types and sizes to go footloose.
Krasley was a passionate advocate of mental health issues and hoped to open a "dance studio for special needs children" one day, as per her family, which has asked fans to consider donating to charities dedicated to the cause in her honour.
