Supergirl actor Amy Jackson and Gossip Girl actor Ed Westwick are said to be in a relationship which was officially confirmed on Instagram. Amy shared their picture which showed the couple sharing the stage together.
English actor and musician best known for playing the role of Chuck Bass on Gossip Girl and as Vincent Swan in White Gold, made his feature film debut in Children Of Men in 2006. Ed has also appeared in films like Breaking And Entering, Son Of Rambow, and S. Darko. Born in Lonon, Ed had begun his music lessons from the age of six years while attending a Saturday morning drama school. He received his education at The Barclay School and North Hertfordshire College where he took A-levels in business, law and communication. Later, he was trained at the National Youth Theatre in London.
Who Is Ed Westwick?
In 2007, Westwick appeared in Garh Jennings’ Son Of Rambow before being cast as Chuck Bass in the American-English CW network’s teenage drama series, Gossip Girl - based on Cecily von Ziegesar’s book series. In a statement about his role, Westwick had said, “There wasn't much work in the UK. I was only in LA for a month and I got this show. It's changed my life." He had assumed an American accent for his role as Chuck in the series. The show’s success, however, earned him the title of one of 2008’s sexist men alive, as per the People magazine. The next year, Ed appeared on the magazine’s list of “100 Most Beautiful” together with the cast of Gossip Girl. According to Vox, Ed Westwick was one of the 262 celebrities, politicians, CEOs, and others who have been accused of sexual misconduct since April 2017.
Westwick also co-starred in the film adaptation of Romeo and Juliet as the main antagonist and Juliet’s cousin, Tybalt. Released in October 2013, Westwick had also played the lead role in Bone in The Throat, a film adaptation of American travel documentarian Anthony Bourdain’s novel. In 2015, the film premiered at South by Southwest, an annual conglomeration of parallel film, interactive media, and music festivals and conferences that take place in mid-March in Austin, Texas, United States.
