Who is Divya Khosla Kumar? Actress, producer and director Divya is set to make her comeback to the big screen after 17 years opposite John Abraham in Satyameva Jayate 2.

Kumar made her acting debut opposite Akshay Kumar in the 2004 release ' Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo'. She plays the role of Vidya Azad in the recently released film Satyameva Jayate 2 who is Satya Balram Azad's wife. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Nikkhil Advani. Here is what we know about Divya Khosla:
- Divya is married to Indian film producer and music producer Bhushan Kumar Dua. Dua who currently heads Super Cassettes Industries Limited (T-Series) took control of the company when he was 19 after the murder of his father, Gulshan Kumar.
- Divya and Bhushan tied the knot in 2005 and together they have a son.
- After the arrest of actor Pearl V Puri in a rape and molestation case in June, earlier this year, Divya Khosla Kumar posted a long post on social media in support of the actor. Kumar who collaborated with Pearl V Puri in the song Teri Aankhon Mein accused the father of the survivor of filing a false complaint against Puri. She revealed details about the case in her post and tried to justify Puri.
- Divya has directed over 20 music videos, and her first film as a director was Yaariyan in 2014.
- About her journey from being a model to a producer, she said in one of her interviews, " When I moved here I had not planned on becoming an actress, a director or a producer. I think it all happened spontaneously. I am extremely hard working so my only intention was to learn and grow in my career. I am very happy and proud of my journey so far but I still have so much more to learn."
- On taking up direction she said, "Creatively it is more satisfying for me now because as an actor everything is in the hands of the director and you do not have much say in it."
