Who Is Daisy Chittilapilly? On Tuesday, CISCO elevated Daisy Chittilapilly to the position of President for India and the SAARC region. She will be the first woman President of CISCO for India effective August 1, 2021, which marks the beginning of CISCO’s new financial year.
According to CISCO, Daisy Chittilapilly has proved herself with a track record of transforming operations and cultures to drive growth at scale. They further added that she has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Chittilapilly also has experience in leadership roles at CISCO of about 17 years.

Before becoming the President of CISCO, Daisy held the position at CISCO's Digital Transformation Office of the Managing Director. As the President, Daisy Chittilapilly will be responsible for strategy and sales, operations and investments to drive long-term growth in India and SAARC region. Daisy will be taking over Sameer Garde, the former President of CISCO who announced his plans to be in the social sector after working at CISCO for four years.
Talking about her appointment, Daisy Chittilapilly said, "Technology is no longer viewed as an experience-enhancer but as the prime enabler of everything we do." She added that in the recent digital and cloud-first world, CISCO’s leadership across networking, cybersecurity and collaboration puts them at the forefront of helping other business ventures with their digital transformation. Chittilapilly also expressed her excitement about the possibilities technology can shape India into.
