Wondering who is Clea from Doctor Strange 2?  Charlize Theron recently made her Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) début in the post-credit scenes of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. She has now revealed her new character, Clea, through a photograph posted on social media.

Charlize Theron shared a closeup shot of her on-screen persona with strong purple eye makeup on Instagram on Wednesday. "Meet Clea," she said in the caption of her post, introducing the newest member of the MCU. Fans praised her appearance in the comments section shortly after the photos were posted on the internet. Clea is a character who appears in Marvel Comics' American comic books. She is a magician who is Doctor Stephen Strange's disciple, lover, and eventual wife.

Origin of Clea: 

Prince Orini (son of Olnar, the former ruler of the Dark Dimension) and the Faltine fugitive Umar had a daughter named Clea (sister of the Dreadful Dormammu). Umar was traumatised by Clea's birth, and the ordeal was made even worse when she discovered she had lost her power to return to her Faltinian form. She left Clea with Orini and turned aggressive, provoking a confrontation with her brother. Clea grew up not knowing who her mother was and idolising Dormammu, whom her father devotedly served.

Clea's Powers:

Clea is the Dark Dimension's Sorceress Supreme, with tremendous powers involving the manipulation of magical forces for a range of outcomes. She has proven skills such as teleportation, mind control, and illusion casting. She also has more strength and density than an average Earth human. Clea has a deep grasp of magical literature because to her studies of sorcery under Doctor Strange, who also taught her how to fight with her hands.

Clea and Strange's Relationship:

During one of Dormammu's attempts to capture Planet Earth, the Ancient One instructed Doctor Strange to journey to the Dark Dimension and try to stop him. Clea spots him and decides to pursue the "human creature" during this time. She was so impressed with him that she tried to save his life by encouraging him not to confront Dormammu, but she failed because Strange was prepared to die to stop him.

For her betrayal, Dormammu promptly imprisoned Clea, planning to punish her once they vanquished Strange. During Strange and Dormammu's battle, the Mindless Ones, who were being held in check by Dormammu, escaped, forcing Strange and Dormammu to work together. Dormammu was obligated to obey Strange's wishes to release Clea and not attack Planet Earth now that he owed him money.
