Who is Bulbul Saha? She is a 38-year-old woman who tied the knot with the former Indian cricketer Arun Lal. The ceremony of their wedding was held this week in Kolkata. Before the marriage, they were long-term friends. They have been dating each other for a while and got engaged last month.

The cricketer's marriage with Saha is his second one. The 66-year-old's first wife Reena is reportedly suffering from an illness and apparently gave her consent to the marriage taking place. The newly-wed couple will reportedly take care of the ailing wife together.

A couple has pictures from the wedding have gone viral over the internet. In those images, Saha and Lal are seen enjoying the celebration along with their family and friends. Saha is wearing a light pink coloured saree while Lal dons a light green coloured sherwani. The pictures show them cutting the cake and planting pecks on each other's cheeks.

She is a teacher at the St Paul's Mission School in Kolkata. As per the pictures shared the wedding ceremony took place in Kolkata on May 2. On her social media handle, Saha thanked the people who were supporting the couple, "Officially Mrs Lal. Thanks to my family and friends for supporting us."

Reportedly, she has a close relationship with BCCI President Sourav Ganguly. On December 14, 2020, she allegedly shared a series of pictures of friends and family along with the former captain, with the caption, "Sunday afternoon well sorted with dear friends."

Apart from teaching, Bulbul Shah is also a baker. Her posts on social media indicate her interest in baking and thoroughly enjoying it. She is also a traveller, who has travelled from Mysore to Varanasi to London. She married Lal, who is the former right-hand opener in the Indian Team. He is now the head coach of the Bengal Ranji team. In his peak career, he played at least 16 test matches and 13 ODIs for India. Post-retirement, he did commentary on the sports in both English and Hindi language.
