Who is Asawari Joshi: Popular television actor Asawari Joshi took to social media to dispel reports of her accident circulating online. Addressing fans, she pointed out the inconvenience owing to "negligence of the media" and informed she was safe and doing well at home.
Joshi cited certain reports from September 6 that claimed she was injured in an accident near Lonavala on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. There were even rumours of her death, she added.
"I would like to convey to all my fans and relatives from all over Maharashtra and outside Maharashtra that by the grace of Swami I am safe at home today, don't worry," Joshi said.
The 56-year-old is best known for appearing in classic comedy shows Family No.1, Tere Ghar Ke Samne and Office Office. She currently essays the role of Aditi Suryavanshi on Marathi series Swabhiman - Shodh Astitvacha.
