While the existing ministers were asked to resign, the "big four" ministers for finance, foreign affairs, home and defence, however, are unlikely to be changed. The new list includes Narayan Rane, Sarbananda Sonowal, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Sunita Duggal, Meenakshi Lekhi, Bharati Pawar and more. Patel is one is also among the seven women who have been named by the PM today.

Who is the Apna Dal leader, Anupriya Patel?
- Anupriuya Patel is an Indian politician. She represents the Mirzapur constituency of Uttar Pradesh. Patel is the daughter of Sone Lal Patel, who was the founder of the Apna Dal political party. Later, Sone Lal Patel also co-founded the Bahujan Samaj Party. He is also known for his efforts in the struggle to abolish casteism and social inequality in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
- Patel completed her education at Lady Shri Ram College for Women and Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University in Kanpur. She has a Masters's degree in Psychology and an an MBA.
- After the demise of her father, Anupriya took the seat of the President of the party in 2008.
- She was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh in 2012 after contesting the elections from Varanasi.
- Later, in the general elections of 2014, Patel campaigned for Bharatiya Janata Party and won a seat from Mirzapur.
- In 2017, Anupriya Patel said that she in favour of a quota for women.
