The couple had been married for 27 years and nurtured a multi-billion business empire while also raising three children. 1. Bill Gates' ex-girlfriend Ann Winblad is married to actor Kevin Kline’s brother, Edward Alex Kline, who has two adult kids from a previous marriage, says a report by New York Post.
2. Winblad dated Bill Gates from 1984 to 1987. They had split in 1987. Today Winblad, now 70, has been married to Kline, 63 for six years.
3. Kline is a private investigator and Stanford University grad who played a minor role in big brother Kevin’s 1988 movie, A Fish Called Wanda, the Stanford magazine reported in 2000.
4. According to his LinkedIn profile, Kline runs a "full-service private investigation agency" called Alex Kline Investigation & Research Service. The company he runs was set up in 1985 and according to its website, they provide full investigative services in the US and worldwide and probe cases around crime, fraud, and civil rights.
5. According to reports, Kline has majored in human biology and studied law for a year at the University of Colorado-Boulder. However, he then decided to change his career and chose crime investigation as his profession.
While Bill is now the fourth richest man in the world as co-founder of the computer software giant Microsoft, Winblad is a software entrepreneur and the founding partner of Hummer Winblad Venture Partners (HWVP). The magazine noted that their yearly vacation had gone on for "more than a decade."
