It is directed by Hitesh Bhatia and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the Excel Entertainment banner in partnership with Honey Trehan and Abhishek Chaubey of MacGuffin Pictures.

The film’s significant cast includes actors like Juhi Chawla, Suhail Nayyar, Taaruk Raina, Satish Kaushik, Sheeba Chaddha, and Isha Talwar.
Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30, 2020 after fighting a long battle with leukemia. He couldn't complete the shoot of film and due to this, Paresh Rawal was roped in shoot the remaining shoes. The film will see two actors essaying the same character.
The film’s producers recently conducted a memorial screening of the film. It was attended by his family members including Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir’s sister Riddhima Kapoor, and other members of the Kapoor family. Actor Alia Bhatt was also seen attending the screening.
Plot of the movie
The film revolves around the life of a retired widower who is trying his best to keep loneliness at bay by participating in a gamut of activities he is inclined towards. He tries various things and realises that his heart lies in cooking. His son, however, is not very happy with whatever his father is upto.
