Pushpa: The Rise is all set to release on December 14. The release comes after several delays due to the pandemic.
As per reports, the Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer has already made ₹ 250 crore prior to its release. Critically acclaimed actor Fahadh Faasil will also be a part of the cast along with Prakash Raj, Ajay Ghosh, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Rao Ramesh, Harish Uthaman, Jagathi Babu and Vennela Kishore.

The film will be released in five languages, Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi. This is the third time that director Sukumar has collaborated with Allu Arjun. Before this, the duo had made Arya and Arya 2 together. The fans of the film's cast have been eagerly waiting for the release. On the day of its trailer release, the makers decided to delay it a bit and caused a massive Twitter trend where social media users were seen wondering about what might have caused it.
Famous music director Devi Prasad has worked on the film's music has been garnering praise for what the fans to hear in the film's trailer and the song Saami Saami. As per reports, the film is based on the life of truck driver who gets involved in illegal business. The film puts a spotlight on the smuggling of red sanders tree in Andhra Pradesh's Seesachalam forest.

Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu will also be making an appearance in the film in the song which was reportedly shot in Ramoji Film City of Hyderabad. Ganesh Acharya has done choreography for the song. The upcoming release of December 17 is said to release only the first part of the film. The producers of the film are Mythri movie makers and Muttamsetty. Allu Arjun is playing the main lead named Pushpa in the film.
