Following the announcement that Pieces of Her would premiere on March 4th, fans of Karin Slaughter's best-selling novel, on which the show is based, are counting days to its release.

Pieces of Her is a drama thriller written by Charlotte Stoudt and Lesli Linka Glatter, who are also the writers and showrunners for popular series Homeland. Minkie Spiro will direct all of the episodes in the first season of Pieces Of Her, whereas Bruna Papandrea, who served as a producer on shows including Big Little Lies and Gone Girl, is also associated with the project.

The ">trailer for this highly anticipated show, which was 1.29 minutes long, was released about two weeks ago. It presented a basic overview of the major cast and plot, but the public will get the whole picture once the show airs.

Where To Watch Pieces of Her:

The show takes us on a journey of how  “A woman pieces together her mother’s dark past after a violent attack in their small town brings hidden threats and deadly secrets to light." In the trailer we are introduced to a police officer named Andy Oliver, whose mother Laura risks her own life to pretect her daughter from a shooter. What surprises andy is that her mother uses expert maneuvres to tackle the shooter, this making her suspect her mother's past.

Soon Andy begins to assemble pieces of her mother's life to fully understand who she is. However, Laura warns her and asks her to dissapear instead. "There are just some things that you don't understand," Laura tells her daughter.

Toni Collette, who has also acted in Hereditary, Knives Out, and Stowaway, will play the role of Laura in the series, while Bella Heathcote of Dark Shadows, The Neon Demon, and The Man in the High Castle fame plays Andy Oliver. Jessica Barden, who was part of the film The Lobster and the series Penny Dreadful and The End of the F***ing World, is also starring in the series, and so is David Wenham.

The first season of Pieces of Her will be available to stream only on Netflix starting March 4, 2022. The first season of the show will have eight one-hour episodes, which is standard for a Netflix season. You can find Netflix original show, Pieces of Her here.
