Wondering where to watch Dasvi? It is an upcoming social comedy film. It stars Abhishek Bachchan, Yami Gautam, and Nimrat Kaur in the lead roles.
The film is Tushar Jalota's directorial debut film and is written by Ritesh Shah, Suresh Nair, and Sandeep Leyzell, as well as Kumar Vishwas, a former Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) leader and poet. Maddock Films is presenting it, and it is a collaboration between producer Dinesh Vijan and Jio Studios; the two previously collaborated on Mimi, another comedy genre film with a social message, which was released in 2021.
Dasvi Plot
Dasvi tells the story of Gangaram Choudhary, a politician and chief minister, whose reputation has been tarnished by a series of incidents in the area. The former chief minister then serves a prison sentence for corruption. Gangaram has only finished eighth grade, and as a result, he is having a rough time in prison and he makes the decision to continue giving the "tenth" exam.
In the official description of the social comedy film, the politician, Gangaram is described as "an uneducated politician" who decides to finish his high school while imprisoned under the supervision of a fierce cop.

Dasvi Cast:
Ganga Ram Chaudhary, an ignorant politician, has been played by Abhishek Bachchan. IPS Officer Jyoti Deswal has been played by Yami Gautam, and Chief Minister Bimla Devi has been played by Nimrat Kaur. While Gautam portray a harsh cop, Kaur will portray Gangram Choudhary's cunning wife. Arun Kushwah and Manu Rishi will lead the supporting cast.
In an interview, Abhishek Bachchan referred to himself as "OTT ka Bachchan," referring to his fifth consecutive release on the OTT platform. Breathe, Ludo, Sons of Soil, and The Big Bull are among his other online releases. Meanwhile, Gautam was part of OTT projects such as Ginny Weds Sunny (2020), Bhoot Police (2021), and A Thursday(2022).
Nimrat Kaur has previously been in films such as The Lunchbox (2013) and Airlift (2016), and she will now make her OTT comeback with Dasvi, following her performance in The Test Case in 2017.
When and Where to Watch Dasvi
The film's official trailer released on March 23, 2022. Dasvi will be available to watch on Jio Cinema and Netflix from April 7, 2022.
