When Is New Season Of Thriller Series Tehran Coming Out ?

Tehran season 2 release date has been drawing close and the curiosity of the viewers on what will entail in the thriller show for the upcoming season is rising. Season one of the show was the first non-English show to release on Apple's streaming platform in September 2021. It first made its debut in Israel in June 2020.

The second season of the spy thriller show will have Glenn Close and Niv Sultan, who will be making a comeback as Mossad agent Tamar Rabinyan. The cast will also include Shaun Toub and Shervin Alenabi. It will be released in parts. First, two episodes of the show will be aired and then it will release in weekly installments every Friday.

It is an eight-episode long season. It is in Hebrew and Persian-language, which takes detailed storytelling on the story of Mossad agent Tamar Rabinyan, who is undercover and on a mission in an Iranian state. It is a geopolitical thriller drama, which first made a debut in Israel and then in 2021, the streaming rights of the show was brought by Apple's streaming service

Tehran Season 2

The show is created by Moshe Zonder, Dana Eden and Maor Kohn. It is directed by Daniel Syrkin. The rights of the show are distributed internationally by Cineflix Rights.

In November, the show's co-creator Eden accepted the award for Best Drama at the International Emmy Awards. During which she spoke about the show and said, "I want to say that Tehran is not only an espionage series. It's all about understanding the human behind your enemy and we're doing it every day on our set."

At that time, she had also announced that the filming for the second season had commenced and that in the upcoming season, they will be working with Iranian actors from all across the world and Iranian refugees who fled the current regime in the country.

Tehran Season 2 Release Date

The show will continue till June 17 from the day of its premiere on May 6,2022. Season one of the show is already streaming on Apple Originals.
