When Is Ranveer Singh's Jayeshbhai Jordaar Releasing?

 Ranveer Singh will be seen playing a non-conventional superhero fighting against social evils in his upcoming comedy-drama Jayeshbhai Jordaar.

Jayeshbhai Jordaar was announced back in 2019 and since then Ranveer Singh, as well as his fans, are eagerly waiting to see the movie on the big screen. However, the shooting and production work for the film could not be completed in time for an expected 2020 release. There were speculations that the film will come out in 2021, however, as the COVID-19 situation worsened in the country, the film was stalled again. Finally, it seems like Singh's film will get a theatrical release.

Jayeshbhai Jordaar is a social comedy that is about a common man, Jayeshbhai Deshmukh, from Gujrat who stands up for equal rights of women and puts in an effort to remove the existing discrimination. The movie stars Ranveer Singh, backed by a supporting cast including Shalini Pandey, Deeksha Joshi, Ratna Pathak Shah and Boman Irani. The movie will mark Pandey's debut in Hindi cinema. Previously, she has worked in regional films, her most popular role being that of Preethi in the Telugu movie Arjun Reddy starring Vijay Deverakonda.

The movie is a Divyang Thakur directorial and a Yash Raj Films production with Maneesh Sharma and Aditya Chopra as producers. The movie was expected to release on October 2 in 2020 but was later postponed to August 27 the next year and then February 25 this year. However, none of the dates worked out even though the pre-production of the film was completed in May 2019 and the shooting was also wrapped up by February 2020.

Jayeshbhai Jordaar Release Date

The release date announcement for the film was made ">through a video that was released on social media on March 3, 2022. The video stars Ranveer Singh talking about different types of superheroes that the cinema world has seen yet. Ranging from thug hero, fake hero, cop hero, bat hero, superman hero, rich hero, double role hero, snake hero to outer space hero, the world has seen many such heroes saving the common public from villains. Singh then introduces Jayeshbhai, a hero like no other, whose ways are jordaar. Jayeshbhai Jordaar will be coming to theatres on May 13.
