The main character of Criminal Justice Season 3, Advocate Madhav Mishra, is back and this time he is defending a young man named Mukul who is accused of killing his own step-sister. This is the most challenging case of his career.

Popular teen Zara Ahuja (Deshna Dugad) vanishes without a trace following a disagreement with her despised brother Mukul (Aditya Gupta). The horrific news of Zara's passing sends the country into shock, and the police discover evidence connecting her brother to the crime. Mukul's own parents, Avantika (Swastika Mukherjee) and Neeraj (Purab Kohli) are suspicious of him because of his past of causing trouble. When further investigation identifies Mukul as the primary suspect, he is punished in a juvenile facility.

As time passes, the investigation becomes more difficult due to information concerning Mukul's hatred for Zara, his addiction treatment, and Neeraj's conviction that Mukul committed the murder. What steps would Madhav Mishra take to discover the truth?

It is directed by Rohan Sippy, and it has the support of Applause Entertainment and BBC Studios.
