Sex and the City reboot web series And Just Like That has been renewed for its second season and fans will soon watch Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte reprising their roles as well as life events at the age of 50 in the upcoming season.
Despite the fact that the show was not received well by the audience for its first season, makers of Sex and the City reboot have decided to return with Season 2. Carrie Bradshaw along with her friends Miranda Hobbes and Charlotte York Goldenblatt are expected to come back with more drama and fun for their fans, which could perhaps undo the damage done to the original show's following.
According to reports, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis are confirmed to star in And Just Like That Season 2, along with Nicole Ari Parker, Sarita Choudhary, Mario Cantone, Karen Pittman and Sara Ramirez among others. Actor Kim Cattrall, who did not reprise her role as Samantha Jones in the first season of And Just Like That due to creative disagreements, won't be seen in season 2 either. Showrunner Michael Patrick King told Variety in an interview that the fans should not expect the return of Samantha Jones saying, "I have no realistic expectation of Kim Cattrall ever appearing again."
Stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristen Davis, all served as the executive producers of the show as well.

The first season became a hot topic as it discussed many cultural conversations including the introduction of Sara Ramirez's non-binary character Che Diaz who encourages Miranda to contemplate her sexuality.

And Just Like That Season 2 does not have an official release date yet. However, the show might reportedly return sometime around early 2023. HBO Head of Original Content, Sarah Aubrey, while confirming the new season, said, "We are proud of the work Michael Patrick King and our wonderful writers, producers, cast and crew have done to bring these stories to the screen. We can’t wait for fans to see what’s in store for season 2!"
