Tejaswi Yadav, the leader of Bihar assembly opposition Rashtriya Janta Dal, is reportedly going to marry his long time friend. There have been much curiosity among social media users about the bride and the relationship between the couple.
The engagement ceremony took place in Delhi on Thursday. Yadav's family members, father Lalu Prasad Yadav, mother Rabir Devi and sister Misa along with brother Tej Pratap were already in Delhi on Wednesday. According to reports, about 50 people attended the ceremony including the relatives of the politician. Tejaswi Yadav is the last of his siblings be married.

Tejashwi Yadav Bride: Who Is She?
A report by Aaj Tak stated that the bride, named Alexis, has been friends with Yadav since the past six years. Many claimed that Yadav knew her since childhood. Alexis belongs to Vasant Kunj area of Delhi and has worked as a airhostess. Her father is the principle of a school in Chandigarh. The marriage between Alexis and Yadav was not approved by RJD leader and Yadav's father Lalu Prasad Yadav. It was because she is a Christian. However after much discussions, he gave his blessings to the couple. Some reports have also claimed that the would-be-bride's name is Rajshri. The politician is yet to reveal the name of his bride. A report by News18 claimed that Yadav's sister Rohini Acharya said that the bride's name is Rachel.

The politician became the Chief Minister of Bihar in 2015 and stayed in office till 2017. He was faced with much criticism because of his academic qualifications. Yadav had dropped out of school after class 10 to pursue a sports career. He had played for the under 17 and under 19 cricket team of Delhi, as per reports.
The marriage of his brother Tej Pratap had stirred much controversy. In 2019, his wife Aishwarya Rai was reportedly made to leave the house and she later filed a complaint of domestic violence and dowry harassment.
