Aparshakti Khurana And Aakriti Name Daughter Arzoie, What Does It Mean ?

Meaning of Arzoie: Actor and singer Aparshakti announced the arrival of his baby daughter with Aakriti Ahuja on August 27.

The couple in a picture shared on social media wrote, " Aakriti and Aparshakti welcome with love Arzoie A Khurana born on August 27th, 2021."

The unique name given by the couple to their baby daughter comes from the Punjabi language's Gurumukhi script which essentially means prayer or 'Ardaas'. The name holds a spiritual significance as it comes from Gurbani words Arz, Arzoo and Arjoo.

The couple had announced the pregnancy on June 3 this year. The actor took to his social media and wrote, "Lockdown me kaam to expand ho nahi paya, humne socha family hi expand kar lete hain (We could not expand work in the lockdown, so we decided to expand our family) #preggeralert."

Earlier this month, Aakriti Ahuja had shared pictures and videos from the baby shower thrown for her by her familu members, friends and Aparshakti Khurana. She had written in her caption, ""What a precious day this was, so glad I got to celebrate it with all my loved ones. Missed so many because of COVID, but feeling all the love! Can’t wait, only days to go!"

In June announcement, the couple had shared a pictures on their social media which showed Aakriti flaunting her baby bump. The couple met each other during their dance training days at Shamak Davar dance classes. They married each other in 2014 after seven years of knowing each other and then years of dating. Their wedding ceremony was held in Chandigarh in a traditional Punjabi setting.

Khurana had said that his debut song, Kudiye Ni was inspired by his wife Aakriti and his love for her.
