When it comes to mothers and daughters, they share a unique bond. From fighting with each other over who's the boss to embracing the womanhood together, daughters often share a bitter-sweet and complicated relationship with their moms. And it goes without saying, almost every daughter looks up to become the kind of woman her mother is simply because she is the most influential in our lives.
I remember my mother staying up all night when I used to catch fever as a child. She made my entire outfit for a fancy dress competition at my school from scratch all by herself. She even rescues me to date from my father's scolding. She is the strongest woman I know and has inspired me to become the best of what I can be. Just like any other daughter, I do hold some grudges against her and I am sure she does too. But this doesn't stop us from loving each other. She is still the first person I reach out to when I am hurt, or in need of comfort and a shoulder to cry on. I am pretty sure am not the only daughter who feels about her mother the same way.
Surprisingly, many web series have managed to capture this complex equation in all its glory. Be it sitcoms that offer a cheeky take, or drama series that'll make you reach for the phone and call your mom instantly, these series are both relatable and fun to watch.
