It then follows her through the tumultuous weeks leading up to her death, attempting to piece together the mystery of her untimely end. When we find that specifics surrounding the night of the star's death were kept under wraps, things get a little murky, making it tough to come up with explanations.

According to the official synopsis of this controversial, dark, and investigative genre of film, "Long-unheard conversations with John Huston and Hollywood's elite help piece together Marilyn Monroe's life and untimely death." The brighter the star, the darker the truth, says the documentary's official tagline.
While the film may not be able to fill in all of the holes, it does promise to focus on the numerous conspiracy theories that have surfaced since that fateful night in 1962 that shocked Hollywood and Monroe's fans.
