Watch State of Siege online: Actor Akshaye Khanna will be making is OTT debut with the film State of Seige: Temple Attack which is based on the 2002 terrorist attack on Akshardham Temple in Gujarat. The film is directed by Ken Ghosh and is produced by Abhimanyu Singh and Contiloe Pictures.
The film is a follow up to the mini-series State of Siege:26/11 that revolved around the 2008 terrorist attack on the Taj Hotel in Mumbai and featured Arjan Bajwa, Tara Alisha Beri, Mukul Dev, and Arjun Bijlani.
According to the trailer of the film, the premise of the film revolves around terrorists entering a temple in Gujarat and taking the pilgrims hostage. They then proceed to killing the hostages one at a time. The film is also said to be a tribute to the NSG (National Security Guard) soldiers, which is an elite counter-terrorism unit under the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs. NSG, which played a significant role in neutralising Akshardham terrorist threat, is portrayed dealing with the situation in the film adaptation of the incident.
Ken Ghosh, the director of State of Seige: Temple Attack, also called the film a tribute to NSG saying that there is an immense amount of hard work put into making the film and the trailer is just a quick adrenaline-pumping snapshot of it. Talking about the film he also added, "The film is our tribute to the NSG".

The action-thriller film stars Akshaye Khanna, Manjari Fadnnis, Vivek Dahiya, Gautam Rode, and Akshay Oberoi in key roles.

The trailer of the film was released on July 2 and so far it has received a positive response from the viewers. The movie will be available to watch online on the streaming platform ZEE5 from July 9 after its premiere. The film will be available to all the subscribers of the platform. State Of Siege: Temple Attack will release in three languages including Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
