Planning To Watch Dasvi Online? Here's What You Should Know

Dasvi is a forthcoming social comedy film starring Abhishek Bachchan, Yami Gautam, and Nimrat Kaur. The trailer has sparked the interest of the audience, who intend to see the film. As the premiere date for the film approaches, many people are wondering when and where they can watch Dasvi online.

Ritesh Shah, Suresh Nair, and Sandeep Leyzell, as well as Kumar Vishwas, a former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and poet, wrote the film, which is directed by Tushar Jalota. It's being presented by Maddock Films, and it's a collaboration between producer Dinesh Vijan and Jio Studios, the two previously collaborated for Mimi, a comedic genre film with a social message that came out in 2021.

Dasvi Plot:

Dasvi narrates the story of Gangaram Choudhary, a politician and chief minister whose reputation has been tarnished by a series of local occurrences. After that, the former chief minister was sentenced to prison for corruption. Gangaram has only completed eighth grade and is having a difficult time in prison, so he decides to continue giving the "tenth" exam.

In the official description of the social comedy film, Gangaram is defined as "an uneducated politician" who decides to finish high school while imprisoned under the surveillance of a furious cop.

Dasvi Cast:

Abhishek Bachchan portrays Ganga Ram Chaudhary, a politician. Yami Gautam portrayed IPS Officer Jyoti Deswal, while Nimrat Kaur portrayed Chief Minister Bimla Devi. Gautam will play a tough cop, while Kaur will play Gangram Choudhary's clever wife. The supporting cast will be led by Arun Kushwah and Manu Rishi.

Abhishek Bachchan referred to himself as "OTT ka Bachchan" in an interview, referring to his fifth consecutive OTT release. His other online releases include Breathe, Ludo, Sons of Soil, and The Big Bull. Gautam has also appeared in OTT films such as Ginny Weds Sunny (2020), Bhoot Police (2021), and A Thursday (2022). Nimrat Kaur has been in films such as The Lunchbox (2013) and Airlift (2016), and she will now return to the OTT with Dasvi, following her role in The Test Case in 2017.
