Waltair Veerayya Trailer Released, Megastar Chiranjeevi's Long-Awaited Film

Chiranjeevi's Waltair Veerayya trailer was released today evening at 6:03 pm in India. The Chiranjeevi-Ravi Teja starrer is an action-packed family entertainer. The film is directed by K.S. Ravindra and produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar, and Mohan Cherukuri under the Mythri Movie Makers.

Chiranjeevi was last seen in Godfather in 2022, a remake of the Malayalam film Lucifer. This will be his 154th film and the first release of 2023. Waltair Veerayya is coincidentally clashing with Balakrishna's Veera Simha Reddy.

Chiranjeevi seems to play a local don whose control is threatened by Ravi Teja, who plays the city commissioner. He makes a mass entry in the trailer, with a power-packed action sequence and commercial elements like dynamic, lengthy monologues, emotions, drama, and foot-tapping dance numbers. Shruti Hassan is the female lead and plays Chiranjeevi's love interest. The trailer also shows a glimpse of vintage Chiranjeevi in lungi and dramatic punch dialogues. Ravi Teja also seems to have substantial action scenes in the film. On the whole, a commercial entertainer awaits the Telugu cinema audience.

Megastar Chiranjeevi plays the lead in Waltair Veerayya. Shruti Hassan is paired opposite him. Ravi Teja plays an important role along with Chiranjeevi.

The film's cast also includes Catherine Tresa, Prakash Raj, Bobby Simha, Sathyaraj, Nassar, Rajendra Prasad, Vennela Kishore, and John Vijay in supporting roles.

Waltair Veerayya Release Date

Waltair Veerayya is all set to hit the theatres on January 13 as the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana celebrate Sankranti.

The megastar will next be seen in Bhola Shankar, a remake of the Tamil film Vedhalam.
